Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
( in a time when great judgments were falling on the nation all around him Isaiah testified he had a double portion of peace, because he kept his mind on God , not his ability to supply for his family but God’s promises )
Matthew 6:8
For your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
( God may not supply your present lifestyle,but he promised to supply you a roof over your head, food to eat, and to clothe you.)
Luke 12: 29, 30, 31
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things .
But rather seek ye the kingdom of God: and all these things shall be added unto you.
( as the storms rage here in our land keep in touch with God by reading the Word & praying each day, do not let fear become your daily bread when you lay down to sleep or when you rise in the new day, trust God to show you how to survive)
